For Golf MK7 (2015–2018):
Ambient light can be controlled by the rear view mirror button or mobile app.
⚠ You need to ask a specialist to do laptop coding to activate the ambient light menu if you want to control it by screen, we can’t do this coding and don’t have instruction for  laptop coding.

For Golf MK7.5 (2019–2021):
Ambient light can be controlled by: rear view mirror button, app & screen menu(coding required).
The product come with an OBD cable for coding, you can use the OBD cable + our app to activate the ambient light menu(some low spec. headunit can’t code, in that case, buyer need to ask a specialist to do laptop coding at your side)
