- The product require coding to activate ambient light menu to control via original screen. You can do coding via laptop using Audi/VW coding tools & software (5054 / VCDS, NOT included in the product, and we don’t provide laptop coding instruction), or use our OBD dongle (optional) to do the coding.
- Our OBD dongle must use with Wechat app, please make sure you can register Wechat account before you order.
- “RGB” v.s. “Dynamic”: “RGB” light strip can show 1 color at a time, while “Dynamic” light strip can show different colors at a time (rainbow function); “RGB” version do not support welcome light function while door is opened, “Dynamic” vesion support
Control method:
- Screen control: after coding the ambient light menu out, you can control the light color and brightness in screen menu
- SWC/App control: if you are not able to do the coding, you can still control the ambient light by steering wheel combination buttons or Mobile app
