In this guide, we’ll walk you through step-by-step installation for BMW Sky Lounge Roof Ambient Lighting Kit so you can enjoy a professional, factory-like finish at home. Whether it’s applying the film, routing the spring wire, or installing the LED light strip, each step is designed for a precise fit and easy setup.
Step 1: Film Installation
Clean the sunroof glass thoroughly and make sure the surface is dust-free. Please prepare your own cleaning solution.
Apply the ambient light film evenly onto the sunroof glass.
If the film size is slightly larger, trim the excess carefully to match the sunroof shape for a perfect fit.
Step 2: Spring Wire Installation
Route the spring wire along the edge of the sunroof frame as video.
Next up is the wiring process.
The wiring setup can differ depending on your vehicle model. Please choose the correct wiring method according to the color of the controller you received.
After finishing the wiring, continue to Step 4: Installing the LED Light Strips.
