OEM Deisng Laser Carving Style Interior Ambient Light Upgrade Kit for VW Golf 7 & 7.5 (MK7 / MK7.5 / GTI / R / GTD 2014–2020), replaces factory single-color (white or GTI red) or no lights trims without our ambient light trim and extends vibrant illumination to the passenger dashboard, center console storage, inner door handles, and front/rear footwells.

MIB 2 (2015–2018) prefacelift MK7: Coding must be done via laptop using VW coding tools & software (5054 / VCDS, NOT included in the product, and we don’t provide laptop coding instruction); If you can’t code, you can control the light via Mobile App / Rear View Mirror button
MIB 2.5 (2019–2020) facelift MK7.5: Coding can be done via laptop using VW coding tools & software (5054 / VCDS, NOT included in the product, and we don’t provide laptop coding instruction), or use our OBD cable(included) to do the coding; We will offer the OBD coding instruction when you install the light

Is coding required for MK7.5 menu control?

Yes. We provide an OBD coding cable, but compatibility may vary due to different market head units.

What if OBD coding fails?

You will need a VW coding specialist for laptop coding. Otherwise, the system can still be controlled by the mirror button or app.
