The Audi Q7 4M (2015-2019) cabin is defined by its expansive horizontal lines and premium materials. However, many early models shipped with single-color or basic ambient lighting. By retrofitting a Dynamic Active Ambient Lighting system, you can introduce chasing light effects and multi-color transitions that fully modernize the interior.
Project Overview and Required Tools
This installation involves replacing or augmenting the factory light strips in the dashboard, door panels, and center console. To complete this, you will need:
T20 and T25 Torx screwdrivers.
A set of non-marring plastic interior pry tools.
Wire fishing tape for routing through door bellows.
Adhesive cloth tape to ensure a rattle-free finish.
