⚠ Note:
- To control the light in factory MMI screen menu, need to do coding to activate the ambient light menu. You can do coding via laptop using Audi/VW coding tools & software (5054 / VCDS, not included in the product, and we don’t provide laptop coding instruction), or use our OBD dongle (optional) to do the coding.
- Our OBD dongle must use with Wechat app, please make sure you can register Wechat account before you order.
- “RGB” v.s “Dynamic”: “RGB” light strip can show 1 color at a time, while “Dynamic” light strip can show different color at a time (rainbow function); “RGB” version do not support welcome light function while door is opened, “Dynamic” vesion support
Control method:
- Screen control: All versions support factory ambient light menu control after coding.
- SWC/App/Rear view mirror button control: Laser engraving version support SWC & App control, “RGB line” version support rear view mirror button control, do not support app control.
