Description

30 colors ambient light retrofit kit for Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 C8, specific design for A6 C8, with RGB and Symphony dynamic(rainbow) version for option; Support factory MMI screen menu control, plug and play installation. Our Audi A6 C8 Ambient Light Upgrade Kit replaces plain factory trim with vibrant LED light guides. Controlled natively through central MMI display, support to set independent colors for both the contour lines and surface lighting, giving your interior a true high-spec RS6 aesthetic every time you drive at night.

Control Method: Multiple control way for option: original screen menu + app + rear view mirror button

⚠ Note:

If need to control the light in original menu, you must do the coding to activate the ambient light menu. You can code it by Audi/VW coding tools & software (5054 / VCDS, not included in the product, and we can’t provide laptop coding instruction), or use our OBD cable to do the coding. After you receive the goods, connect the master control box to car OBD II port, and follow our instruction then can do the coding;
Our OBD cable support to code car before 2025, can’t code 2025+ year car, you need to ask dealer to code it or tuning shop who has authroziation for Audi / VW coding to do the coding, otherwise can’t control by menu; In this case you can control the ambient lightt by app or rear view mirror button.

* Control method:

Screen control: after coding the ambient light menu out, you can control the ambient light color and brightness in MMI screen menu
Button/App control: if you are not able to do the coding, you can still control the ambient light by rear view mirror buttons or app

A: Yes. Coding is required. Without coding, the ambient light cannot be controlled via the original screen menu.

Q2: Can I use the OBD coding cable?
A: The OBD coding cable supports Audi A6 C7 (2018–2023) only. 2024–2025 models are NOT supported and must be coded via laptop.
